We created FMI to meet the needs of home schooling parents seeking higher math instruction for their students.
In an effort to duplicate our success with individual students we began developing services that could meet and exceed the need for upper-level math instruction in a classroom setting.
We diligently sought to understand the needs, wants, and opinions of home schooling parents. One parent said, “I don’t need another place to have to drive my child.”
As a result, we committed to three values: convenient, flexible and affordable math services.
Parents also expressed a concern that their children would not be prepared for the lecture environment found in college and that their note-taking skills were underdeveloped. As a
result, we created a collegiate environment with college math professors and our patented note-taking systems for developing mastery.
Finally, parents enjoyed an environment of personal accountability for their children. We agreed and as a result, we provide a traditional and unique means of meeting with student via
Live Interactive Virtual Electronic classrooms (L.I.V.E-classrooms).
We have been excited to extend our services to parents of private and public school students and college students. FMI is helping students as far away as Hawaii and as nearby local
high schools. Our approach to math support is unique but easy to use.
We look forward to continuing our services with a commitment to providing convenient, flexible and affordable math services.
