We will add FAQ topics as they arrive.
1. What is a “Skype” account?
Skype is a free service that allows communication between two or more people with Skype accounts. You can communicate in a mix of three ways: instant messaging (IM), voice to voice using a microphone,
or face to face using a webcam.
2. How do I create a “Skype” account?
First go to www.skype.com. Next, download the Skype program onto your computer. Once downloaded, you will be prompted
to register for a Skype account. Make sure to remember your Skype name for connection purposes with FMI.
3. Which type of web camera should I buy?
Web cameras range from simple plug and play USB to programable firewire-driven. Since our Senseis do not need to see great detail from our student’s video image, the least
expensive and simplest webcam with a USB 2.0 connector is sufficient: about $19.95 on sale.
